Born 1975 Passion, motivation, self-discipline, creativity and communication are the foundations of professional photography. Collaborating ideas and working with people to create the best visual interpretation.I began in 1999, Realised I had a love for beautiful imagery,I wanted to create my own. Learning the technical aspects I followed my passion, wrapping myself in the elements, educating myself in the wonderful world of imagination and illusion. Each project welcomes a new challenge, research and brainstorming laying the foundation for a successful shoot. On approaching a job I find out as much as possible about the conditions, the concept, tone, lighting and overall message to be conveyed.Meticulous sourcing of props and styling are a prerequisite for the professionals working on my team.Communication is key. Being wholly involved in the logistics of the shoot allows me to truly realise a visual reality.

My Belief

When I ask myself the question, “What is it that defines my photography?’

Undoubtedly my response is ‘Capturing natural expression.’ I look for beauty in a person by exploring their soul when they connect with my lens. Expression is visual poetry, an emotional authenticity, communicating with its reader, leaving behind a memorable sensation. In my eyes a picture without expression has no pulse. I find inspiration from models, actors, characters and people of the arts, who have a passion for their work,who take direction and influence the outcome with a moment of brilliance. It is in these decisive yet fleeting moments that I find myself seduced to photograph them.I do not take preference over fashion or commercial jobs, applying the same formula to all my work, capturing natural imagery, (pictures) is the glue that binds my photography together.
