I started out as a model in South Africa in the early 80s, I moved to Paris and then on to New York. I lived overseas for about 14 years and came back to SA in the 90s where I started my family. My life has been good to me.In 1988 I ventured into studying Film Direction and did a Intensive In Film - Making Course at the New York University film School.

I worked for Fifteen years in Paris and New York, working with icons of the fashion industry, including Bruce Webber, Ralph Lauren, Steven Meisel, Calvin Klein, Irving Penn and Richard Avedon.

I also had the pleasure in 1997 /1998 of being fashion Editor for Fairlady Magazine. From there my love of photography grew and developed into Twenty years experience of portraits, self-portraits and reportage; I published a book, ‘Josie, You and Me’ (Bell-Roberts, 2003) and Shot fashion pictures and portraits for Italian Elle, Actor Jared Leto for Interview magazine (U.S.), Photo magazine (France), Elle Décor (Italy). I have also Shot Community Chest commercial (Hunt-Lascaris Durban/Vuka Awards 2004),3 Mr Price TV ads (2004)Red Cross Children’s Hospital Documentary (2005)


Directed a music video for James Stewart done a Short movie for Woolworths for the Fairlady Catherine Awards and Numerous Shoots for Icon, Visi, Elle and more. My greatest Passion is my 3 Children who I have the pleasure of raising from day to day… They are my True Inspiration.
