Miriam was born in northern Germany, known for its cosmopolitan city, Hamburg. "I sensed at an eary age that I was artistically inclined." And so, with her love of art, aesthetics and painting, Miriam began her career as a Hair Stylist in Berlin. What followed, were positions as a Technical Advisor for Schwarzkopf in Hamburg and many years as a Makeup Artist and then Retail Manager for M.A.C.

"What I find so fascinating about this job is the metamorphosis of the model as a result of my work, and the photographer"s." Miriam’s calm working style relies more on intuition than ego, with a clear goal in mind for the end result. Her makeups and hairstyles incorporate german precision whether the looks called for are modern and natural, or reflect the more extreme side of fashion.
